GENERAL BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SABÁTICO MADRID

1. PURPOSE AND ACCEPTANCE

This document governs the contractual terms and conditions applicable to all bookings made through the booking engine integrated into the official SABÁTICO MADRID website. By making a booking, the guest acknowledges having read, understood, and expressly and fully accepted these conditions, which become part of the accommodation contract.

2. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellation policies vary depending on the length of the booked stay:

2.1 Short Stays (up to 27 nights): Limited Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 14 or more days in advance: full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellation between 7 and 13 days before arrival: 50% refund.

Cancellation less than 7 days in advance: no refund will be issued.

2.2 Long Stays (28 nights or more): Semi-Strict Cancellation Policy for long stays

Cancellation 30 or more days in advance: full refund.

Cancellation less than 30 days in advance: the first 30 days of the stay will not be refunded.

Under no circumstances will days already used be refunded.

2.3 Important Note: Cancellations related to personal, work-related, or logistical changes of the guest are not considered justified reasons. Only in cases of duly documented force majeure (serious accident, death of an immediate family member, etc.) does SABÁTICO MADRID reserve the right to analyze the situation individually.

3. RESERVATION MODIFICATIONS

All requests for modifications (dates, number of people, duration) must be communicated in writing at least 7 days prior to the arrival date. Any modification is subject to availability and express approval by SABÁTICO MADRID.

4. ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND SUPPLEMENTS

The following services are available upon prior request and acceptance of the terms and conditions:

Private transportation: Available upon request with 48 hours' notice. Price to be agreed upon depending on the route.

Cleaning is performed after check-out. During your stay, we offer, upon request, an enhanced cleaning service including linen changes and replenishment of amenities. This service incurs an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.

Early check-in (from 10:00 AM): 50% of the corresponding night's rate, subject to availability.

Late check-in (for in-person check-in - after 10:00 PM): €40, subject to prior arrangement.

Late check-out (until 3:00 PM): 50% of the corresponding night's rate, subject to availability.

5. PENALTIES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

5.1 Keys

€50 for lost, broken, or forgotten keys inside the accommodation.

The cost of emergency locksmith services (if necessary) will be paid entirely by the guest.

5.2 Smoke-Free Zone

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.

Violation: €60 penalty.

If deodorizing treatments or special laundry are required, these costs will be charged additionally.

5.3 Late Check-in (when applicable for in-person check-in)

An additional charge may apply for unjustified delays beyond the arrival time previously agreed upon with the check-in staff.

5.4 Extra Cleaning

If the apartment is returned in a condition that reasonably exceeds normal wear and tear (excessive dirt, trash, damage, or misuse of furniture), an extra cleaning charge will apply. The amount will be determined based on the actual condition of the accommodation, following an assessment by the cleaning team.

6. RULES OF USE AND CONDUCT

Guests agree to respect the furniture, equipment, and rules of the accommodation.

No parties or events may be organized without prior written authorization.

Guests must maintain a respectful relationship with the other residents of the building.

SABÁTICO MADRID reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and without refund in the event of conduct that disturbs public order, damage to property, or serious breaches of these rules.

7. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation during their stay. In the event of an incident, SABÁTICO MADRID reserves the right to apply compensatory charges equivalent to the cost of replacement, repair, or cleaning.

8. DATA PROTECTION

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the data provided during booking will be processed for the purpose of managing your stay and complying with legal obligations regarding traveler registration. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

9. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from their interpretation or application, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Madrid.
